I just bought your film 'Eastern Promises' on DVD for three bucks and I'm looking forward to seeing it. Happy birthday sir, you are in my opinion the finest film maker Canada has ever produced and one of the finest filmmakers to ever come out of North America.

Eastern Promises is very good, but very depressing. I am sucker for Viggo Mortinson movies though, as I've liked just about everything I've seen him in.
Needless to say, I haven't seen G.I. Jane....that just looks dumb
He also directed an episode of my all-time favorite show, Friday the 13th: The Series.

Devilham, you ought to break down and see G.I. Jane. Mortinson is great in that one too. (But you're right--otherwise it's a pretty dumb movie.) As for the bleak Eastern Promises, IMO there are some rays of hope at the end.
