I have a confession to make
If you have one of those Read More... features on your blog that requires me to click on it to see the rest of your post, I rarely ever click on it. I feel like I shouldn't have to click any more than once to read your post just because you want to save space on your main page. Sure, it sounds petty, and I may be missing over half your posts, but that's who I am.

Also, by looking at my stats I can tell that hardly anyone looks at a link within a post so I try not to put as many links in as I used to.
I rarely click through either. I put in links for definition purposes only.
I've been noticing them lately too. I don't think I've ever clicked on "read more" either....

It depends on the topic. Sometimes I will click on the "read more" but more than often I don't, I have to admit.
Like MnMom, I put links in as references to avoid any appearance of plagiarism!
