And there was much rejoicing that day...

...when the kittens heard that the American Association of Retired People (AARP), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the American Cancer Society (ACS) had all endorsed the Democratic party's health insurance reform bills. The feeling that with these damn dirty socialist groups on board that health insurance reform might actually pass and become a reality. And other kittens saw this as a good first step towards national singlepayer health insurance for all.

The way I see it is that we just finished bailing out wall street and giving the CEOs their multimillion dollar bonuses to boot, though we did not like it one little bit (but what can we do when our representatives we vote for do not represent us?) and now they want us to capitulate health care for the masses (and remember we pay for theirs!) in order to further enrich the health care, pharmaceutical, and insurance industries. Personally, I am getting tired of being screwed over.

Can I trade my Republican Senators for a couple of kittens?
