Mary and these Van Dyke wearing dudes helped make Bob Dylan famous, their cover of
Blowin' in the Wind helped put him on middle America's musical map, and they turned
Puff the Magic Dragon into a huge hit. Mary has left on her last jet plane, she's takin' the dirt nap now. Goodbye Mary, you were big part of the soundtrack to my early childhood and one of my first crushes. Thanks for all the great music and for rockin' those early '60's fashions.

In that pic, she's cute as a button.
I didn't know she had passed away until reading this. R.I.P.
I know. I read this. I loved Mary! She was so "there" but very gentle. My dad used to sing Lemon Tree or If I had a Hammer or Blowing in the Wind to me every evening before bed.
james was very sad about this one. he said "my favorite mary died." i'm glad my name is not mary or i would have been offended.
Aw, damn. We played the hell out of that album in our house.
