Pic3 hilarious use of hot dogs! Now what the heck is in the center? Oh wait, I don't need to know!

I don't eat hot dogs, but those bacon wrapped dogs do look tasty LOL

That last one is so fancy, I'm gonna serve that at Christmas. Baby Jebus would like that a lot, I think.

Ohhh...weenies...tube steak in all it's glorious splendour...and such a 'WTF is that smell' while they're boiling in water...
That red colour in the last picture reminds me of the weenies they used to show during the intermission at the drive-in. Yum!!!

the last one is just too gourmet for little old me! ; )

Monkey, you're such a snob! These all look good to me, except the bacon in the second one needs to be crispier. What I can't stand are the type that are cooked in a way that splits the skin, and they look all nasty and raw. Now that is revolting.

I'm not as interested in what's in the middle of the "standing dog roast" as what they used to tie the whole thing together. It looks like banana peels, but how the heck do they keep the knots from slipping?

I NEED TO KNOW!

So I say to you, good Dr. Monk, check out Eatmedaily.com, one of the best food blogs ever with certainly the best links this side of the Daily Fork.

The other reason why I bring this site up, is that one of their columnists, Stephanie Butler actually tries out some of these gross recipes similar to the ones you post, from an old "Better Homes & Gardens" and an Mormon cook book from back in the day.
