I started a new Tumblr blog to showcase bad food of the last century. It's called Culinary Horror. And yes, that's baked beans in the Jell-O ring. I shit you not.
I'm not sure which is more horrifying -- the fact someone dreamt up the beans in aspic idea in the first place, or that they thought it was a recipe worth promoting. (For purposes of avoiding vomiting, I'm assuming tomato aspic made with unflavored gelatin instead of what it looks like, strawberry Jello.)
It looks very easy to make. Perhaps I'll make one and bring it to my new neighbors as a "welcome to the neighborhood" present. I try to alienate all my neighbors as I really don't want people just dropping by..etc I believe one of these would do the trick nicely! Tuna fish pizza anyone?

I seriously could puke if I wanted to by sheer mental powers alone aided by your photographic (procurement)genius.
