In other words, it's a perfect French romantic comedic farce. And I loved it.
Okay, I'll admit I love most anything Audrey Tautou does. She could read the phone book in French while dressed in sack cloth and ashes and I'd watch. She is the reason I sat through The Da Vinci Code, so there you go. She's very cute and believable in this movie. Her co-star is one of those sad sack looking French guys who the chicks go crazy for and he's more than up for the task of playing opposite Ms. Tautou in this film.
I highly recommend this film. I really enjoyed it. And don't let the fact it's in French with English subtitles throw you off or dissuade from watching it. Go ahead and live a little and watch a movie with subtitles from time to time, it won't kill you, you big baby.

I've been wanting to see this movie. I love French cinema. Audrey is so beautiful and talented.
Did Audrey truly salvage the garbage that was "The Da Vinci Code" for you? Nothing could make up for the badness, as far as I'm concerned!
Also, apparently Blockbuster likes to "warn" its customers that the movie they are renting is in a foreign language and has subtitles. Ridonculous!
I just don't like Audrey Tautou! I don't even know why--just something about her bugs me.
But...but...but...not even Amelie, dguzman?
I love subtitles movies! They almost make me feel like I know another language.
I need to watch this to take notes on cleaning out sugar daddies.
We will get this flick! I also highly recommend a great Mexican flick if you can find it called 'Nicotina'... a most wild ride. We watched 'Harold and Maude' this past weekend and now remember why it is a veifiable classic film. See it again and find the little gems throughout the film that make it so special, not to mention the most awesome Jaguar hearse. Love Ms. Tatou... thanks for the info!
I think I may have lost a teensy bit of love for you for sitting through Da Vinci Code -- actually for going to it in the first place. Nevermind, I'm sure you'll redeem yourself
