Hey, Monkey Muck, easy for you to sneer but if Jesus was born today he'd probably be born in a trailer. Also, that's a very nice peony!

I present this without comment Margaret. And I do it as someone who lived in a trailer for over a year and half.

Trailers are one form of affordable housing, and as such, many municipalities are trying their hardest to do away with them. I like the hydrangea bush (or is it a peony? Looks blue ...)

I'd blow my brains out.

I still like the "Good Trailer/Bad Trailer" theme, Monkey. We drove past one that definitely would qualify as the "bad" half. Gads!

This is such a great idea for a post. Wonderful work, Dr. M.

That is what is commonly called a 10 wide. My personal fave is the 10 wide with the bay window over the hitch. Many had louvered windows that were a northern clime fail. This one has them, left of the door.

My great grandmother lived in a "10 wide" with the bay window - all the windows were louvered. I loved that place. The "spare bedroom" was just big enough for a bed and a small dresser and was closed off from the hallway by a double pocket door - it was like a sleeping berth on a train.

Her place was immaculate, and the garden she kept was a dream.
