After watching the documentary - I saw this woman in quite a different light. She was so courageous in this battle to leave this world so very young. Thanks for the posting.
She took herself seriously even when nobody else did...did some good work and never allowed herself to be turned into one of Hollywood's post-starlet lost souls. A brave woman to the end. R.I.P Farrah.

She died so young! Very sad news.
I'm very sad about this. I saw a few minutes of the documentary, and I thought maybe she'd be the rare miracle person who'd survive.

Aw, geez. She really had a few horrible years with her illness. I hope she is now pain free and wowing the dudes in heaven.
Sad. She seemed to be in such good spirits about it, at least from what I saw in that special a month or so ago. She will be missed.
An icon of the 70's... she had more than looks, she had a certain charisma that was way beyond physical appearance.
And now Michael Jackson? Damn. What a day.
A TV icon and the King of Pop in one day. What a bunch of horseshit.
My kids talked me into displaying that poster in the reading lab when I was a very young teacher.
Thankfully, the Nipple Patrol wasn't on the prowl, and it brought lots of happiness to my students.

RIP Farrah although I preferred Heather Thomas in a hot tub for my poster of choice.
