This week's word of the week is brought to you by Chef Tomaine: "Bobbery is the word of the week this week. It is a slang noun for a noisy disturbance or a loud quarrel. I must go now, my souffle is falling."
We have this food writer in St. Louis that has segments on the news. When she talks to chefs, her head always bobs nervously. The word bobbery made me think of her. I LOVE your blog. I'm a great admirer of language/vernacular/lexicon....and recently have launched a Monkey road trip on my blog. Please visit me sometime.

I'll have to instigate some "bobbery" as I go about my daily hob-nobbery.
Bobbery, like when Deniro walks into a Denny's?
Doc
"The Bobbies of London were caught in the midst of a bobbery about Bob!" Nah...I can try to do better than that.
Sounds like Elmer Fudd saying robbery
"When the red, red robin goes bob, bob, bobbering along."
Hi,
New here. :) Sounds like a good word to describe the damn bus strike in my area that has been going on for the past 40 days! Arg, make it stop! :P
Are you sure that isn't Chef Boyardee? 'Cuz it looks an awful lot like Chef Boyardee. I'd recognize that soul patch anywhere

"You can't ignore me Dan. I won't be ignored."
p.s. I was hoping a lame movie quote would get you to play along with the meme... ;)
