Why?

Why is the show not available on DVD in this country? It's insanely funny and it's written by Graham Linehan, who is one of the guys who wrote Father Ted.

I'm ready to declare Katherine Parkinson the hottest British comedy babe ever. But do I get to enjoy her comic charms on my televison whenever I want to? Can I just pop in a DVD and see her and her co-stars when the mood strikes me? Not just no, but hell to the no. I have to settle for watching them on IFC at 10:00PM on Tuesday nights. It's a shame, a travesty, and a crime against comedy that we can't get The IT Crowd on DVD in this great nation of ours. And before any of you say anything, I have no interest in seeing the American knock off starring that knob from that Soup show on E!.

Come on DVD gods, give us The IT Crowd on DVD and give it to us now and I promise no one will get hurt.

Too bad. I checked BBCAmerica, and they don't have it for sale. :(

I'm partial to Jane Horrocks for comedy babe, and Emma Thompson has to be in the running as well.

If Ballykissangel counts as a comedy, then it's the redhead who runs the bar, hands down.

She does look yummy, and Emma Thompson is smokin' hawt. Do you remember comedy babe "Josie" from the original version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? She was dishy as well. Ah, British women... sigh.

I want to move to the UK just because they have great TV and movies and books and snooty accents and lots of fried food.
