Another one bites the dust

Congrats to Mark Begich on beating Ted Stevens or as I now refer to him, convicted felon and the worst Senator ever! Your victory keeps one felon out of the the US Senate and it keeps the village idiot Palin back home for at least 6 years.

I bet Palin has an ice pack on her head right now as she's envisioning her political aspirations melting faster than an Alaskan glacier.

Dear Dr. Monkerstein,
We must register our dismay at your characterization of Senator Stevens as "the worst ever". Having worked for many years to achieve this distinction for ourselves, we resent the reckless application of the term to one we feel was a mere aspirant to "worst-ever" status. Please reconsider.

Yours most sincerely,
Rick Santorum
George Allen
Pete Domenici
Bill Frist

This is great news! Sarah Palin can now focus on "writing" her 7 million dollar book. Yup.

@CDP--Tom Delay is wondering why the hell you didn't let him sign your letter. He's pissed.

This is going to sound crass, but any occurence that keeps Palin out of Washington is alright with me.
