This young lady and I, the late Gus Hall*,
my all time favorite Cubs pitcher Fergie Jenkins, and the lovely Elizabeth Shue**all send out congratulations to Phil Fulmer and the Tennessee Vols for losing yet another game to the Florida Gators. Phil, seriously, you are a country bumpkin who has been unmasked yet again as a talentless idiot who has no business coaching a big time college football team but who inexplicably got lucky for many years. You should be fired tomorrow for losing once more to Florida.
Oh yeah, we'd all like to send out congrats out to the Chicago Cubs for clinching their division and making the playoffs. But seriously Cub fans, don't get your hopes up until your team is one out from winning in the final game of the World Series. After so many years of frustration on my part in which I was rooting for the Red Sox to win, they seemed to always find a way to lose it all. I hope your team wins this year even if it means you beat my BoSox in the series. You long suffering people deserve a win for a change.

**I have no idea if Elizabeth Shue is a Cubs fan or not I just wanted to finally use that picture I've had of her for months on my computer.

I LOVE MY CHICAGO CUBS. Really, someday might be this year.
I walked my pup past that sign every day for 9 years, from 1986-1995. Then I moved to L.A. Sigh. I do miss my Wrigleyville years... but like I told DivaJOod, MAN MONKEY did I have fun at the playoffs in 1989!! Too much fun to repeat here.. ahem.
GO CUBBIESS!! And, I've always had a soft spot for Gus Hall.
This IS the year! My Cubs WILL win. No doubt about it.
I used to keep a picture of Phil Fulmer on my fridge as an incentive to lose weight, but it backfired. I'd look at his picture and think "I don't look so bad, really," and then I'd order a pizza.
Phil Fulmer is a fat fuck, is what I'm saying.
I never watch sports, but I've been a secret Cubs fan ever since I was little, and spent time watching the games on tv with my dad. I grew up in suburban Chicagoland.
As a Gator fan, I think we can agree with Vols fans on one thing, Phil blows.
Fergie Jenkins was MY favorite Cub, too! I had a giant stuffed frog when I was a kid - I named him Froggison Jenkins.
Help! Help! I grew up in the house of a first generation Turkish-American. Only books were allowed. No sports. I don't even know what the devil you are discussing here, but at least it sounds vaguely Democratic.
Oh, by the way, Elizabeth Shue desecrates that American flag really well!
Well, Snad, if Shue's desecrating that flag, let's ask her to take it off! She's smokin' hawt!
