I'm actually hoping McCain's campaign keeps feigned indignation tactic going. Pretty soon it's going to be pretty easy to paint McCain and Palin as whiners.

The honorable, former POW, Senator John McCain was definitely NOT calling Senator Clinton a pig. And most certainly not a pig with lipstick.
He was, in fact, complimenting her. He was complimenting how great she looked in her new lipstick.
And the "pig" comment you heard was just that old acronym from when we were kids. Don't you remember?
Boy to Girl: You're a pig!
Girl's response: Yes, I am a Pretty Intelligent Girl!
See, he wasn't calling her a "pig." He was calling her P.I.G. - Pretty Intelligent Girl!" A Pretty Intelligent Girl with liptick. It's a compliment.
Doesn't that make more sense now?
