Nova Scotia, alluring land of untold pleasure and mystery
You can see all the scans of the photos from the 1955 Canadian tourist magazine which I bought for a buck a week or so ago by clicking here. Some of the pictures are touristy classics.

I left Nova Scotia one year ago and it looked exactly the same except some of the dresses were a bit shorter.... and I'm not even kidding...which is a good reason for leaving Nova Scotia
One small change, exurbanpedestrian! I assure you that no bagpiper greets you at the border in Amherst. (Probably because most people would take the opportunity to run over said bagpiper.)
We made a short halt at Frankfort-on-the-Main, and found it aninteresting city. I would have liked to visit the birthplace ofGutenburg, but it could not be done, as no memorandum of the site of the house has been kept. So we spent an hour in the Goethe mansion instead. The city permits this house to belong to private parties, instead of gracing and dignifying herself with the honor of possessing and protecting it. ------------------------------- nancypricella

You're praise for the world of our soon to be Canadian Overlords is pleasing to them and will earn you great standing in the new regime.
I live right next to St. Paul's! Craziness.
