Question a day

Today's question comes to us from Beth over at A Cup of Coffey. Beth wants to know, "How are things in Tennessee?"

Things are good thanks.

Thanks for sending in your question Beth!

Have a question you've always wanted to know an answer to? Well, send it right on in to me here at the blog. I'm answering one question a day all month long during January. Send in your question via email to me and I'll do my best to answer it. Send those questions to monkeymuck(at)gmail(dot)com. I've got a few days worth of questions yet to answer but I need more so don't be shy, send me your questions!

I like that map a lot. You know, I think that the beauty of Tennessee is a well-kept secret. I drove one from N.C to Cincinnati. The land in northern TN is stunning.

Have you ever noticed that Miss Tennessee almost always wins Miss America?

That was a bit of a softball question, but I'm glad there was a happy answer.

I love that our area is represented by the barefoot hillbilly looking at his little cabin in the woods. If only he were holding a demijohn it would be perfect. I love this area.

Crayons-We do have our share of beautiful women here. And th monkey's are so bad either.

Barb-Sometimes we need a soft ball question or two.

Snad-I knew someone would get a kick out of that map besides me. It came from a picture book called "Life In America:The South" which was published in 1951. It's a hoot! I'll be posting the photos from it on Flickr soon. Stay tuned for it!
