I'm reading "Redemption Song," a bio of joe Strummer right now. A friend of mine met Joe at a music festival in Northern California just a few months before Joe died. Strummer was hanging out with fans, talking to them. My friend bought him a beer, and got him to sign a poster for me. It's one of my prized possessions.
