This paleo-future advertisement came from the back of a 1955 issue of Scientific American. Life was grand with all those labor saving appliances, wasn't it? Thanks to those ball bearings our work time decreased and our leisure time increased so much that we had time to invent jet packs and underwater houses. Life sure is great in the future that never was.
