My blog turns five years old today.Five years seems like forever but it's barely the time it takes you to blink, even less as a matter of fact. It's been fun, maddening, and very rewarding to have kept this blog going for five years. I've met some of the nicest, smartest, funniest people through this blog and I'm grateful for all of them and for you dear reader. I've only encountered a few assholes and I've only had to ban a few people from commenting. I've met and made some great and true friends in real life through my blog and I'm super grateful for that.
I have no intention of stopping writing this blog because I doubt I'll ever run out of things to say or bitch about. Thanks to all of you who read, who lurk, and who comment. You make this all so much fun and rewarding.
Here's to the first five years and to five more and five more and five more and five more after that!
