The cookbook said 'Old fashioned spicy gingerbread.' What I ended up baking was something so dense and dark that it sucks in all light and is as dense as a teabagging libertarian. Next time I'll cut the molasses down to half a cup and see what happens, because damn it, I do like gingerbread.
