The first photo makes me think of my Mom "You need another shirt like you need a hole in the head!".That store front was probably quite the sensation in it's day.
PS - did you ever seen the PBS special on abandoned/decaying Iowa farmhouses? It was beautiful. Much of my childhood was spent exploring them.
Even with the hole in its head, I would vote for the head over Michelle Bachman.
