It's not him you hate. It's the way he's been used to represent a ideal that has become perverted and broken for evil purposes. I believe that if he lived in the real world he would be on your side and my side and not on THE MAN'S side. Cut him a break will ya. He's an orphan from another world.
I always hated Superman. Seriously, I hate the comic, the movies, everything about him. Yuck.
He always struck me as vanilla whitebread. And he's totally a Republican.
