Marie aka Themom passed away last night. She was a great blog buddy and a swell Facebook friend. She'd been battling heart related issues for the past 8 months. She's left behind a slew of kids, grandkids, and a funny and touching blog. It was my privilege to have known her and it was my honor to have been her friend.Rest in peace Marie, you'll be missed by many many people.

OMG. I followed her too for a long time. I knew she had health issues but that must have come so suddenly. It's times like this that we all feel our own mortality.
I'm really so shocked and sorry to hear this. I haven't been online much lately, but I noticed that she just had a post up yesterday. RIP, Marie.
I am saddened by this news. I've followed her blog for a long while, and she will definitely be missed by me. I knew she was having some heart issues, and I don't know why I thought they had been resolved. So sad.
I never met her, but she sounds like a great person.
I believe good people never really leave... they touch so many lives that they live forever.
