Somehow the term "socialist" seems to be synonymous with "communist" to a lot of Americans. And "communist" is, of course, synonymous with dictatorship, Nazism, terrorism and/or Satanism.
I was going to say the same thing - add facism to the mix. Whereas most cannot define one from the other...they cannot decipher public option, co-op or private pay. Moron is such an apt description!
Well, I tried doing my wee part last weekend, when I visited the U.S. for the first time in almost 40 years. When no one was looking (fear of teabaggers!!)I took out my 'Ontario Health Card' and spread 'socialist health dust'...ever so inconspicuously. tee hee...
