If you're a Christian who hates being lumped in with the more extreme members of your faith, then you'll have to get over it. When some people find out I'm an atheist they take delight in saying that Hitler, Stalin, and Mao were also atheists. But I will throw you Christians a bone, if someone tells me they are a devout Jew or Muslim, then I automatically think the same thing about them that I thought about you, that they are humorless prigs too.

It's just how I roll, that's all
If you tell me you are a Christian, then I automatically assume you're a humorless prig until you prove to me you're not. I assume that because of Christians like this, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Michelle Malkin, Mann Coulter, and all the rest of the humorless haters. If you're a Christian who hates being lumped in with the more extreme members of your faith, then you'll have to get over it. I usually think the same thing if within minutes of meeting someone they have to "remind" me a zillion times that their a Christian, Jew, Muslim and show/tell me just how religious they are. Like I give a flying waffle! Cripes!
My whackjob righty catholic Mother in Law told my wife yesterday that the Christians sent to Hitler's camps had been ignored in lieu of the Jews and others that had been killed.
There was so much crazy in that statement, on so many levels, that I was left speechless.
I agree wholeheartedly and have been practicing this preach for a long time. And now my 13 year old daughter joins in the Good Work.
