For the past 8 to 10 years most of you people have been laying down on the job. To see how you should be doing your job, I recommend you watch Jon Stewart's interview with Jim Cramer.
You people in the business of reporting on business and finance have been nothing more than shiny faced cheerleaders for all the bullshit that's finally hitting the fan. You knew the system was rotten well before it collapsed, hell, I knew it was rotten and ready to collapse, and yet you stood by and acted all surprised when the bottom fell out. None of you asked the tough questions or did the leg work. You all just sat back and stroked ego's and cashed checks while the rest of us got screwed. If there is any justice in this world then maybe you had all your money invested with Bernie Madoff or maybe you took Cramer's advice and you bought the hell out of Bear Sterns.

I seem to remember something about a "watchdog press" being very important to our Founding Fathers, whom the MSM just love to quote.
Jon Stewart bent Cramer over and rammed some sense into him.
Cramer was as docile as a baby lamb while Stewart completely took him down.
If he gets to keep his job at CNBC, it'll be a miracle, because Stewart totally discredited the mouthy little jackass.
Gez, I fell asleep. Thanks for reminding me. I'll watch online.
And once again, Dr. M, you have created an outstanding masthead.
Too often, TV interviews are just a chance for the guest to get his/her "talking points" out, with little or no questioning.
Nobody should feel "uncomfortable."
Like the Ari Fleischer thing above: how dare you confront us with the truth!
Why is a "comedian" the only one doing his job correctly?
Cramer looked like he was going to cry. Love it.
Whatta weenie, huh? That's what he gets for trying to be one of the big boys and masquerade as someone who "reports" on business.
Stephen Colbert had the right word for Kramer and his CNBC colleagues...
stenographers.
