Spend a little, save a lot

Without going too much into it, the house we made an offer on did not pass inspection. It turns out that the money we spent on getting it inspected may well be the best investment we ever made.

  1. Inspections are ALWAYS worth the money. ALWAYS.

I'm sorry you didn't get your house, but that just means there'll be an even better one coming your way.

Fingers crossed that the search goes well and quickly.

  4. You know what joke I'm dying to make, but I won't. Because that totally sucks.

It did look like a beautiful house.

  6. That's a shame, but the inspection did the job it was meant to do. The perfect one is still waiting for you.

  7. Definitely a bummer, but you'll find the right Casa de Monkey. Take your time and have fun looking.

  9. I'm sorry. Was it the colony of wood-eating sheep living under the stairs? The poltergeist?

You will find something that suits you. Promise. It might be that it's in Madison, Wisconsin, right next door to us. Just a suggestion.
