More food preservation

I canned 10 and 3/4 quarts of Roma tomatoes yesterday.

  1. I have to learn to can. I did, however, make roasted peppers, pesto sauce, and a fresh marinara sauce. Tomorrow it will be caponata and eggplant parmigiana. Now's the time to get the veggies cooked and in the freezer.

  2. I'm missing my summer garden, but every time I start to regret my decision not to plant I remember how pissed I was to find out what else the stupid dog had destroyed.
