I think I found my reason for why I never really took to veggies when I was a kid.
Will you scoff at me if I tell you those lima beans look pretty good to me?
Uggggg! Nothing's worse than a bowl full of mealy limas. Except maybe a bowl full of peas. Well, a bit of orange has been added. But. That orange can't kill the mealy texture of those peas. God, how I detest mealy green things.

Those lima beans have been drying out for coming on fifty years. They're just about perfect.
