We're expecting to be hit with a big snow storm later today. They say we could get as much as 11 inches of heavy wet snow before it's all said and done. We went to the grocery store and stocked up a bit and I'll go out again around noon to get a few more things, which means the snow will pass us by. Either way we'll be vigilant.
Here's hoping you will be as well.
Usually I'm hoping for it because it's a guaranteed break from the routine around here. But this weekend, it will be a major pain in the butt. Too much going on.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're prepared either way. Stay warm!
Good luck, Doc! Stay safe & stay warm!
ReplyDeleteAnd either way your cupboards are stocked. Win-win!! Hope it does come - a good snowfall is always fun unless it shuts off the power.
ReplyDeleteHa! That's always how it goes, the more prepared you are, the less snow :-)
ReplyDeleteAs long as you're safe and stocked up with supplies a good storm can be fun. Our weather has been nuts. Monday it was plus 48 degrees F, today (4 days later) it's minus 25 F.
ReplyDeleteI know you tell me that lots of snow isn't unheard of in your area, but it still seems like you're being socked with a crazy amount this year.
ReplyDeleteSparky doesn't have to commute in the snow, does she? I used to hate that part of living with the snow.
ReplyDeleteHer commute is about 5 minutes Kirby. Thanks for being concerned. ;o)
ReplyDeleteWe had a big storm here yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys are okay. :P
I may be ready for Spring I think...
(after the Olympics I suppose.. blah)
((Hugs))
Laura
Stay warm and well-fed everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteIs anyone else getting the 'bad request/error 404' thing? I have it on all blogger blogs i go to and cannot comment. I have to empty my cache and clear all cookies. the webs are not too much help. didn't know if this was just me....
For your sake, I hope the 11 inches are AOL inches, not real ones.
ReplyDeleteWe had some snow on Thursday, here in NYC...it melted away quickly. But this weekend? No snow, but colder than a witch's teat. Stay safe and warm.
