Look what I made

We trimmed some trees in the back yard in order to give part of the garden more sunshine. I took some of the limbs and cut them to make a mulch bin. It looks a hell of a lot better than the other one I made so I took all the leaves and yard clippings out of the old one and I took it apart. We put the soon to be mulch in the new bin I made and I'll use the posts from the old bin to make a bigger one for all the leaves that will fall this fall.

  3. Very nice. And I hope you tied or nailed the sides because I'd like to see that thing stay around a while.

  4. That is awesome! What a great idea! I think I will try that (someday)! Looks so rustic, like Lincoln's New Salem (his boyhood town).

  6. P.P.S.
I once had my yard guy trim my pecan tree and save all the skinny, long, straight branches.
I made a rose trellis out of them and it looked great, but I used jute to tie them together and it lasted approximately 2 rainy days.
Nails are definitely the way to go.

  11. I'm making a rock wall from stones pulled out of my garden. At first I thought I should have them hauled away and buy stones for making the wall, then I realized the stupidity of that
