We trimmed some trees in the back yard in order to
give part of the garden more sunshine. I took some of the limbs and cut them to make a mulch bin. It looks a hell of a lot better than the other one I made so I took all the leaves and yard clippings out of the old one and I took it apart. We put the soon to be mulch in the new bin I made and I'll use the posts from the old bin to make a bigger one for all the leaves that will fall this fall.
Did you nail or ties the sides?
ReplyDeletethat is so cool!
ReplyDeleteYou are so ingenious. Also, you are becoming the King of DYI!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. And I hope you tied or nailed the sides because I'd like to see that thing stay around a while.
ReplyDeleteI used nails.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! What a great idea! I think I will try that (someday)! Looks so rustic, like Lincoln's New Salem (his boyhood town).
ReplyDeleteP.S. I really like the new header.
ReplyDeleteP.P.S.
ReplyDeleteI once had my yard guy trim my pecan tree and save all the skinny, long, straight branches.
I made a rose trellis out of them and it looked great, but I used jute to tie them together and it lasted approximately 2 rainy days.
Nails are definitely the way to go.
oh! is THAT what it is?? I thought you were going to celebrate spring with some sort of Viking funeral pyre, or something!! Silly me!!
ReplyDeleteNice!!! I love building stuff out of natural materials.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to recycle/reuse!
ReplyDeleteThat is incredibly cool! Good job!
ReplyDeleteI'm making a rock wall from stones pulled out of my garden. At first I thought I should have them hauled away and buy stones for making the wall, then I realized the stupidity of that
ReplyDeleteThat is so rad looking! Nice work, Mr. Making-Stuff-From-Other-Stuff!
