I'm a very bad monkey

I saw this picture in a thrift store yesterday. It was unframed and sitting on a shelf. I took out my pen and I autographed it. I wrote on it, "Love ya. Mean it!" Then I signed Jesus's name to it.

  1. Did you use his middle name too? It begins with "H" so it must be "Hussein."

oh, I suppose it could also be "Hank."

  3. Yes, I agree with Blueberry. That middle initial is important, or he might be mistaken for the swarthy guy or the mormon version of a platinum blonde blue eyed moony guy in every one of their churches. Looks like the hippy brother of all the platinum blonde kids here. I bet they think he was born in Salt Lake. They probably think the middle initial stands for Hyrum.

  5. ReRe: I think "Jesus sees you doing that" would be better on the bathroom wall, myself.

  6. Well, I hope you wrote his correct name, Joshua of Nazareth. I mean Jesus would not sign Jesus that was not his name. You are a cheeky monkey and that is why we read you.

  7. I'm confused now. I can't decide if you totally ruined the value of this piece of art (in which case I'd criticize you for vandalizing it) or made it worth a jillion dollars on some Christian version of eBay (in which case I applaud you.)

  8. You've fulfilled my hilarious quota for the day. I would rip a rib if I saw a signed pic in the store.

  10. It's Mnmom, but my name is changed and I can't seem to change it back.

My of my friend's kids was showing his room to his uber-religious aunt. He was pointing out all the flotsam and jetsam on his desk, and when he came to THAT picture, in a small frame, he says "And his is my Star Wars guy".

    Thought it was Obi-wan Kenobi!!!!!

  18. LOL - Antiques Road Show better watch out.

Brings back a memory of a visit to a large antiques place in downtown Baltimore on a Sat Morning years ago. They had a big front desk / counter to conduct business. On the counter was a visitor's book where folks could put their name, where they're from, what they're looking for, how much they're willing to pay, etc...
Anyway... I read the last entry made that morning. The person was looking for "Head" and put "Depends" on how much willing to pay. I couldn't stop lol or keep a "straight face" afterwards. I went to my BF and told him to go over and read it, he got tickled too. All the rest of the time we spent in that large place I was eyeing all the guys wandering if they wrote that in the book and thinking what the management would think when they read it too.

  19. "Who da Man?

    You da Man!,
    Love, JC"

    I am so doing that.

  20. HAAA! I love it.

If you address it to a certain person next time, then he or she might think it a divine message.

"For my bestest friend John, Keep on keepin' it real!

    -Your Savior, Master J."

And, then lay in wait with a video camera....

    It is in God's will.
