Word of the week

This week's word of the week is brought to you by Chef Tomaine:
"Bobbery is the word of the week this week. It is a slang noun for a noisy disturbance or a loud quarrel. I must go now, my souffle is falling."

  5. Hi,
New here. :) Sounds like a good word to describe the damn bus strike in my area that has been going on for the past 40 days! Arg, make it stop! :P

  8. We have this food writer in St. Louis that has segments on the news. When she talks to chefs, her head always bobs nervously. The word bobbery made me think of her. I LOVE your blog. I'm a great admirer of language/vernacular/lexicon....and recently have launched a Monkey road trip on my blog. Please visit me sometime.
