What I'm watching (TV edition)

I'm nearly finished with Underbelly: Razor,  the fourth installment of the wildly popular Australian crime series.  This series takes place in the late 1920's and early 1930's.  It charts the bloody feud between Kate Leigh (Danielle Cormack) and Tilly Devine (Chelsie Preston Crayford).  It's full of intrigue, some violence, sexy guys and gals, naked butts and bare breasts, and general mayhem.  I love these Underbelly shows and since this one has Anna McGahan, I love it the most.  I've been watching this one on HuluPLUS.

This Australian women in prison drama hit Netflix instant in the past few days and I watched the first episode last night.  Danielle Cormack from Underbelly: Razor plays a new inmate to Wentworth prison who is caught between two warring factions of inmates and the guards.  It's a harder more violent version of Orange is the New Black.  I'll definitely be watching the other 21 episodes.

Iben Hjelje is a feisty sexy crime reporter who has come back to her hometown to work and to look for the son she gave up for adoption many years ago.  Of course she stumbles across big important crime stories and butts heads with but ultimately comes to respect and work with the stubborn cops.  I like this one too.  I saw the first episode last night on Netflix instant and I'll be watching the others soon.

I saw some of The Street back when we had BBC America before they started showing that awful car show and Star Trek reruns all the time.  I liked it, even if it was depressing at times.  Only recently did I find out it had three series to it.  We've just about finished the second series and it's still good and it's still a downer.  This one is on HuluPLUS.

I like this Australian dramedy about four guys who for various reasons are now 'house husbands,' although to use that term for all of them is a bit of a stretch.  It's full of interesting stories, interesting relationships, and hot Aussie women.  I'm nearly finished with the first series and looking forward to the rest.  I'matching this one on HuluPLUS.
